o f a brown eyed queen
her hair flowing in length
from brown to green
twining my thought like the
growth within her
her words like a vine
captivate those who listen
5 foot 4 inches unique
and heaven brought
a sista with un ending dreams
and deep in thought
but my words brought thick
as the tear in her father’s eye
when he held her
his princess
to the midnight sky
and proclaimed her
a gift from god
now decades of wisdom
show her this new day
a woman who others aspire
to be...
In many ways
Sometimes shown by complements
sometimes shown by jealousy
but nevertheless
shown.. By others
while she comforts In harmony
with herself..
