Every Day is your Day

To: This poem does no justice but to Mom's every day is your day..

Especially those who have touched my life
My Mom
Ms Stephanie (You get the honorary Mom’s award Thank You for all that you do for me and my son’s)
Shannon and her Mom… Wish I could know U better… Stay precious
All the Ma Ma’s at Ujamaa Skule
All the momma’s who have grown with me through my first book and my poetry
You helped save me many times… Faith, Sasha,
The List goes on.. Love each and every one of you and hope this is a beautiful day for you and just one of many...
Christo Diata

From the Womb to freedom
from Mom to Grand ma
She is there
Nurturing
And showing the way
that momma cares
Each choice, each meal,
Each step taken to work for pay
To create the child’s fantasy day
She is the center of the day
Little eyes follow momma’s wake
She is the world to them
Each second spent in her arms
Is like a touch of heaven
The smells that come from the kitchen
When she cook’s
Ambrosia to the senses and mind
The care she takes
Reading stories
Givin baths
A child’s precious time
For all the times I’ve said
And for all the times I’ve missed
I honor each of you as a Mother
And hope every day shows you honor
Like this..
This Your special day..
